Landkreis Vukovar-Srijem

01. - 03.07.

Stadt Ulm – lokale Agenda 21

05.07.

Vukovar-Srijem County

01. - 03.07.

From the heart of the Danube comes the highly developed, 5000 years Vucedol culture, here people have been living continuously for 8000 years. What is not surprising, considering that this lowland along the Danube has always been extremely fertile and gives excellent wine, which is drunk even at English court. This was already known by noble families, such as the Counts Eltz or Odescalchi, who built their castles here and left us today a Danube promenade of castles and museums. Nature is still intact here, rare bird species can be observed while sailing on picturesque small rivers or on the mighty Danube. This region in the east of Croatia stands for hospitality, good food and drink. In our theme tent Culture & Tourism you will get a taste of it - come and visit us!

Save food - protect climate

Over 12 million tons of food are wasted in Germany every year.

In the theme tent, the Tafel shows what we as consumers can do!

City of Ulm - local Agenda 21

05.07.

Why ONE WAY, when you can do MORE WAY? Mountains of garbage from plastic containers, burger boxes, aluminum foil and other disposable tableware from the catering industry make a bad mood. The garbage pollutes rivers and oceans and endangers wildlife. It pollutes the environment, unnecessarily costs raw materials and leads to high cleaning and disposal costs in cities. Reusable tableware for the catering industry will bring a significant improvement. From 2023, catering businesses will have to fill containers brought in by customers, depending on their size, or also offer their dishes and drinks in reusable containers. What solutions are available for this? Which dishes do you like best? Which restaurants do you know in Ulm that already offer reusable dishes? We have sample dishes to look at and touch and a map where you can share your experiences with others.
